Working principle of pressure sensor
1. There are many different pressure sensors in the engines. This is oil pressure sensor, in which there is a sliding resistance. By using the oil pressure to push the potentiometer of the sliding resistance to move, that will change the current of the oil pressure gauge, and change the position of the pointer.
2. By connecting the amplified pressure signal to the oil pressure indicator through the signal line, it will change the current ratio of the two coils inside the oil pressure indicator to indicate the oil pressure of the engine.
