The function of Valve Stem Seal

The main functions of the valve oil seal are:

1. It can prevent the engine oil from entering the air intake (exhaust) pipe and avoid the loss of engine oil;

2. Prevent the mixture of gasoline and air and exhaust gas from leaking;

3. Prevent the engine oil from entering the combustion chamber

The symptoms of valve oil seal damage are as follows: engine oil enters the cylinder along the valve guide rod, causing carbon deposits to accelerate and the spark plug to be greasy, the working condition becomes worse or even does not work, and the engine power is reduced. The valve cylinder is not tightly sealed, the cylinder pressure drops, and the engine power is weakened. Fuel consumption accelerates, and it is easy to cause engine damage due to lack of fuel during long-distance driving.
