The engine in the process of working to absorb a lot of air, if the air is not filtered, the dust suspended in the air is sucked into the cylinder, it will accelerate the wear of the piston group and cylinder.  Larger particles entering between the piston and cylinder can cause serious “cylinder pulling” phenomenon, which is particularly serious in dry and sandy working environment.  The air cleaner is installed in front of the carburetor or intake pipe to filter out dust and sand particles in the air and ensure sufficient and clean air in the cylinder

Generator set air filter: it is mainly an intake device for filtering particles and impurities in the air inhaled by the piston generator set when it is working. It consists of two parts: filter element and shell.  The main requirements of air filter are high filtration efficiency, low flow resistance and long continuous use without maintenance.  When the generator set works, if the air contained dust and other impurities in the air will aggravate the wear of parts, so it must be equipped with an air filter.
